With its earnings this weekend, the movie surpassed The Flash’s domestic haul at the US box office. For those who are unaware, Venom 3 is the follow-up to the 2021 film Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Because of something they did in the last movie, Eddie and Venom are on the run in this one.
According to a study by trade expert Luiz Fernando, Venom: The Last Dance, starring Tom Hardy, is less than $10 million away from reaching the $400 million mark. On its third weekend, the movie made a healthy $33 million, and it has a stronghold at the international box office. The film’s foreign cume reached $279.4 million despite a 51.7% decline from the previous weekend.
Venom 3’s cume reached $114.8 million after earning a healthy $16.2 million on its third weekend at the US box office. This exceeded the $108.1 million earned domestically by The Flash.
Venom: The Last Dance has a total global collection of $394.2 million after deducting the $114.8 million US cume from the $279.4 million international collection. Reaching the $400 million milestone is around six million dollars away. According to Luiz Fernando’s research, the film is aiming for a global run of $500 million to $520 million. The film made 228.5 percent more than its $120 million budget.
