In an overnight offensive on Ukraine’s central and southern territories, Russian military units deployed approximately 40 drones, as reported in an operational update by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) early on Sunday.
The AFU revealed that Ukraine’s air force successfully intercepted and neutralized 30 out of the 40 Shahed drones that were launched from the southern regions overnight. These engagements took place in the central Vinnytsia region and extended over the southern regions of Odesa and Mykolaiv.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding these developments, as they represent the most recent series of drone attacks by Russian forces on Ukraine.
